Our Story
Why a fiber mill? Hendy Appleton has had a passion for fiber arts since her teenage years, learning to knit during her time as an exchange student in Belgium. In 2023, she brought some pygora fiber to Rodger Family Farm for processing, where Donalee Rodger posed a simple question: "Have you ever thought of having your own fiber mill?" This idea blossomed in 2024 when the Appleton children struggled to find work, and Hendy faced a job layoff. Hendy has the fiber knowledge - the kids have the will to work and learn - let's do this!
