Jacob sheep are a heritage breed, known for their horns and their two tone wool. The fiber has a wide range - 26-37 microns, 3-7 inches, with a fair amount of loft and spring. This particular fleece is probably around 30 microns and has a staple length of 4 inches. We've separated the white and black, then run them side by side into a single roving. This allows you to choose whether to use the colors separately, or blend them for a lovely grey yarn.
