Suffolk wool is a sturdy, springy down wool (25-33 microns) that's perfect for hard use. It resists felting, so you sock knitters who want to eliminate plastic (nylon) but still want machine-washable socks, this is your fiber. Also great for rug yarn or outerwear that needs to hold up to a lot of use. Spun, it has a matte, almost chalky finish. Needlefelters, this is a great foundation wool for your projects.

In partnership with Fernwood View Acres, 50% of the profits from the sale of this fiber goes to support the animal rescue efforts of Out to Pasture Sanctuary in Estacada, OR.
